Note: We do accept money orders and personal checks.( If paying with a personal check work will not begin for seven(7) to ten(10) business days). Fifty percent (50%) of the total amount will be due up front before any work is started, upon completion the rest will be due.

Plaques are now available at Bear's Gun Works. Plaques are available either stained or dipped in one of our camo or other patterns. We offer wall plaques and table mount stands. Please call for pricing..

Federal law requires that all packages must be clearly marked as containing wildlife parts. This can be done by marking your package " Taxidermy Items ".
All raw heads must be shipped Fed Ex 2 day delivery, please ship heads out on a Monday so that they do not sit over the weekend . If you experience any trouble with Fed Ex accepting packages containing raw heads please refer them to the Fed Ex service guide ( prohibited items ) section, which states "Animal heads and other parts for taxidermy may be accepted but must be properly packaged."
Please contact us to let us know your item has shipped, so we can be expecting it.
Packaging Instructions:
1) You can only send a complete head if it is fairly fresh and frozen solid.
2) If it is an antlered animal sections of garden hose must be placed over the antler tips to ensure they do not puncture the shipping container.
3) Heads must be wrapped in no less than two (2) trash bags, and then wrapped in newspaper.
4) Heads must be shipped in a styrofoam cooler, hard sided cooler, or sturdy box filled with cedar wood chips to absorb excess moisture. hard sided coolers will be returned upon request.
Please try to keep the shipping weight to no more than 70 pounds.
All procedures are important to follow, foul smelling or leaking packages could be discarded by the shipping company.
Bear's Gun Works will not be responsible for items that arrive damaged.
